For Choir my teacher Mrs.Doomer said we have auditions to do a solo or a group solo. Everybody basically raised their hands and said they want to do solos. My friend Sophie and my other friend Merisa are going to do a group solo. And the song that we are going to do is the " Lost is Found" song. And Everybody is going to practise it next Tuesday. It's going to be lots of fun!
Mrs.Doomer wants us to practice this. -Confidence- standing tall, strong voice that projects, open mouth, bright eyes, and face
-Tone- a warm, pleasing tone that is supported by the breath; neither forced nor weak
-Words- lyrics are correct, understandable, and well enunciated
-Enthusiasm/connection with the message- Do you believe what you are singing? Do you mean it?
-Prepared- is it obvious that you practiced and are ready? (Memorized, or very close to it is best!)
I am going to try and practice all by singing every day and try to get better at it and practice by standing up tall. And mesmerize the words and get it all correct. And smile nicely. If we do all those things we might actually get to do a solo group for the performance I really hope we do get to do a group solo.
