Coyote Peterson is in Japan. He is trying to find a praying mantis. He found one!
Coyote Peterson said the females grow bigger than the males. He also said when the female and a male breed, afterwords the females bite the heads of the males and eat the body! That is really gross and weird!
Coyote Peterson said when the females have their eggs, the females will start dying. That is really sad.
He also said the reason he loves praying mantis is that they look so alien-like. And they have a really good eye-sight.
Coyote Peterson said birds and different reptiles and even mammals will try and eat the praying mantis. He also said the praying mantis will come out at night and during the day. Coyote Peterson said the praying mantis will try to eat small frogs, lizards, and even small snakes! Wow! That is a pretty cool praying mantis!
I kind of like praying mantis. It's just that they look so creepy with the big eyes and how they eat too. But they are also pretty cool how they can eat big animals.
It started to rain and Coyote Peterson said he better let the praying mantis go.
