The Blue Tongue Skink Gives Birth to Live Young

There is a new Coyote Peterson video. The video is called."Blue Tongue Skink".

Here is the video:

Coyote Peterson is in Meandarra Queensland Australia. Coyote Peterson is looking for a Blue Tongue Skink. He is working with two animal specialists, Lockie and Max. The Blue Tongue Skinks are not venomous at all. Coyote Peterson said where they get their name is from their blue tongue. The blue tongue is very big. Coyote Peterson found a Blue Tongue Skink. At first, he thought it was a snake because of their back it's so scally just like a snake. They move like a snake too. Their color is all white with black swerve lines and a light cream ish brown. It looks really cool with their colors.

Their tongue is so blue. The Blue Tongue Skink has very sharp claws. It feeds on little insects and sometimes plants. The Blue Tongue Skink that Coyote Peterson found was little over one foot long.

These skinks are omnivores,

These skinks are ovoviviparous, which means they give birth to live young. Instead of eggs. They give birth to two to six baby skinks at a time.

The males get a bit bigger than females.
