That centipede looks really scary to me. Coyote Peterson said the desert centipede is an arthropod like all insects and arachnids but technically it's a myriapod also related to millipedes. The fangs on the desert centipede are actually called maxilliped. Coyote Peterson said that he can actually see the venom coming out of the maxilliped. Coyote Peterson said the desert centipede is so strong.
Me and my friend Sophie we saw a centipede right out back yard my friend Sophie accidentally touched it and then she said that it actually hurt her somehow. It looked like it was a normal centipede. We live in California.
