There is a new Coyote Peterson video. There at the Caribbean Sea at night Grand Cayman Island. The video is could Venomous Octopus Defends the Reef.
Here is the video:
They are going to dive at night into the sea to go find the Venomous Octopus. Before they can make their descent, they had to swim away from shore out to deeper water. The visibility along the way was poor and they churned up by the waves making this process much more nerve-racking than usual. When they were looking for the venomous octopus They found a Reef squid They can be quite the characters and are extremely intelligent. The Reef squid has translucent skin glimmer as it flutters its fins against the dark inky water. The Reef squid is Closely related to octopus and Cuttlefish, these torpedo-shaped cephalopods have ten appendages set in front of two very large complex eyes. And while Caribbean Reef Squid are normally social creaturs, seeing one all alone isn't that uncommon. They found the Caribbean Reef Octopus it was a big one. The Caribbean Reef Octopus can be extremely difficult to find. But one spotted will flicker with color. The Octopus can change their shape and skin texture completely. All the Octopuses are venomous. The Caribbean Reef Octopus uses its beak to inject its prey with a toxic saliva that paralyzes them while they're consumed.
